Α charming hotel in Patmos Island with a total of 18 rooms, nestled only 30 metres away from Grikos bay, one of the world’s most beautiful bays. Almost everything. The room, the breakfast, the lovely lobby, and especially the service and staff. This is the first time, of all of my travels, I feel as if I am staying with friends family. They also added nice tough for water and slippers. For the price they charge, this is quite extraordinary. They really try the best to take care of the guests and be helpful. I will definitely return to patmos, since this is such a beautiful island. And when I do, hotel grikos is the one place I will stay.

This 5-star luxury hotel is situated only a few steps from Grikos beach, in Patmos. Beautiful 5 star resort situated on it's own private beach, with lounges available for guests of the resort to use (including towels and water). The rooms are quite spacious and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the breakfast is comprehensive with many options and coffee made to order. Nice touches like bringing by water bottles to your room at night, since you are a bit removed from shops etc. You can also walk to several restaurants nearby for dinner if you don't have a car. All in the value is quite good for the price you pay, and it was the perfect place for a relaxing week at the beach.

Breakfast was great, served by the proprietors. Location was great, plenty of restaurants right along the beach. Only a €7 taxi fare to the main town and harbour Skala. Not much further to St John’s cave etc.

Is a family own place by a lovely lady. Great service. Very friendly. Close to the port. Well situated calm and nice view of the bay. We enjoyed it a lot.

One of the best properties I have ever stayed in and I’ve been to many locations. This is a small property of 11 rooms. Extremely clean and well maintained. Petra and Kosta are the owners and attentive. Sotiris is a manager and also very attentive and polite. The staff at breakfast were two of the nicest women. The property is maintained constantly, even with small paint touchups. The rooms were spotless and I am very picky. The views of Grikos and the water each day are beautiful. The pool has towels and lounge chairs. Their are even wireless buzzers on the pool tables in case you want to order a drink or snack. So much detail and thought has been put into this property. Breakfast was different each day. Lovely choices and freshly made food. You sit at the top eating breakfast overlooking the water. Sun shades to keep out the sun.

Hotel Effie is in a very central location and most things are just a few minutes away. I walked almost everywhere because things were so close. Right from leaving the ship, the hotel is just a few minutes to reach without a car. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and always had an idea for daily activities even when I didn't. I felt cared for and taken care of. The facilities are clean and the surroundings are like a picture from a travel guide. Very peaceful atmosphere and simplistic charm. I would definitely visit again!
