Nice and clean place. Staff was very helpful. There is a family mart nearby. Few food options available outside. The breakfast is good but not much variety available. Will definitely recommend this place.

Nice city, not too big but with some nice restaurants and bars to go to in the evening. It is a bit stretched out, so a car can be convenient. Close to Khao Yai national park, so a good place to organize your trips from.

Pak Chong is not too popular among foreign tourists.
Pak Chong is not too popular among foreign tourists. This is a vacation place mostly for Thai people around 3 hours from Bangkok.
Getting there is easy taking the minibus and cost around 160thb.
It is a nice place to enjoy a few days and it has a enormous waterpark/amusement park, exotic zoo, temples etc in a short driving distance.
I reccomend renting a scooter to get around since it is cheap and it fast, especcaly in the most trafficated hours.
Make sure to bring international driving lisence if renting a vehicle, or else you will be fined 500thb if stopped by the police. Helmet is also a must have for both driver and passenger, or else you will be fined for not wearing one also.
There is enough dining places around (a lot of hot-pot around), but the best is the streetfood rolling out at 9-10pm and lasts for the late hours (and also cheap).
I really reccomend Pak Chong for a few days and we will definately go back there the next time.

Night was good for food and many stall but the morning market better as shop open good stufs to buy. The hostel beside noodles shop was the best had ever eaten in Thailand. Fish ball noodle was fresh and delicious.. A stall wanton Noodles down the road was delicious too. The place was quite easy to excess by bus to korat, mini van to Bangkok returned for bus too except only not many can speak English.

Pak Chong is a very laid back town.
Pak Chong is a very laid back town. You can stay here if you are planning to go to the night market or visiting Khao Yai. I think the best time to go here is in November, December & January. Its not so hot and the flowers are blooming during that time.
Really glad that I stumbled upon this property, it was such a unique experience. It was like entering a completely different world and the location also offered refuge to Thailand’s heatwave at the time. I hesitated at first about it being a “vintage” hotel since it might mean outdated fixtures, dust and clutter but to my surprise the hotel was fairly clean and well maintained. We had the place to ourselves since it was Sun-Mon stay so we thoroughly enjoyed the place. The breakfast options are limited but still filling.
Wonderful stay in Pak Chong. The owner as well as the whole team are extremely friendly and helpful. They organize tours in the national park and offer scooter rental. Also tips about excursions are gladly given.
In addition, the breakfast is super tasty.
The rooms are comfortable and clean.
The accommodation is next to the river in a beautiful nature. You can relax there and enjoy the calm. Although it is close to the river we had no mosquitoes or insects which is perfect.
A pretty property with nice views to the mountains from our top floor. Breakfast choices were sufficient and the location was pleasing and clean. We were able to walk to the train station along a quiet back soi and over a walking bridge over the tracks. Although it is not in the business centre we were easily able to walk to the main road in 10 minutes where there are many restaurants and cafes. We enjoyed exploring the small neighbourhood around the hotel.
The staff is wonderful. They helped me find a group tour to Khao Yai National Park. They are humble and very comfortable to deal with. The room is clean and kept ready for you before your arrival. There is a kettle in the hallway for coffee and tea and bread also. Location is perfect. There is a night market right outside. 7-11 is close by. Bus station and train station are also within walking distance. So overall, it was a nice stay.
I like the location, ambiance, and comfort 😊. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom size was beyond our expectation for a hostel. The place is not too far from Pak Chong Railway Station. It is also near the night market. There is a walking distance (about 7 mins) 7-11 if you need some stuff. However, please be informed that the area is not actually pedestrian friendly because it is near the national road.
Everything.
The family owning it are really nice and will help you to book a tour for Khao yai national park with an excellent tour operator and excellent guide (if you book a tour also with Greenleaf ask for Tina!!)
The hotel was super clean in a calm neighborhood.
2 min away you also have the Pak Chong night market.
The owners have excellent English so everything is much easier.
The place was exactly what we needed before and after visiting Khao Yai national park. We've extended the stay from 1 night to 3 nights! It even had Netflix! :) Also, a great thing that in 2 minutes you can reach really good food restaurant, 7eleven shop, cold drinks stall. Train station is next to it too. The neighborhood is calm, so you can sleep very well. Thank you!
I like the the hotel style very unique and the building is bright with yellow colour and full of sunlight. I love the spacious room with mountain view and a lovely big tree. There is a small balcony where I can go out in the morning and breathe the fresh air. The breakfast also very nice with a lot of food variation, my fav is boiled rice and salad!!
A really nice hostel with great breakfast. We stayed here a few days to visit Khao Yai National Park. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The shared bathroom was spotless. There were also some nice common areas to chill and play some pool. We rented a nice scooter from the hostel.
Like everything and great location, not far from Khao Yai National Park and market. Awesome view from the balcony. Only thing is need a microwave and pots. I recommend this place. Will stay again if I come back this way.
The property was very clean and the vintage layout was spectacular everywhere you looked there was something quirky. There was nothing more welcoming after a busy day out in Pak Chong coming back to Ban Mai Vintage.
Just amazing. The hosts are super kind, the place is very beautiful, breakfast is super delicious. If you happen to come to Pak Chong, you must definitelt stay here! We loved everything!
Really in the center of Pak Chong, despite it’s not a large village. Quite new building and rooms. Good and recognisable items from the IKEA.
Clean rooms and very helpful staff.
