I walked everywhere I needed to go during my stay and the hotel was in a great place for that because it was between the station, and some of the major attractions I wanted to see.

Nagasaki food is always fresh and great. Eat Shippoku ryoori. Getting around in Nagasaki is easy using street cars. Nagasaki offers interesting information on many historical sites. Visit those sites in person such as Atomic Bomb Museum, Dejima Museum, Glover's Mansion, etc.

I spent only 2 nights in Nagasaki and wish I'd had more time. It is a big city with much to see and do. Our ferry to the coal island was cancelled do to windy weather and we were called and refunded which was nice. We spend a lot of time at the museum and found it very interesting. We went to the port, where we saw the Queen Elizabeth boarding and had lunch at a nice Chinese restaurant very close on the 5th floor - very popular! There is a street for shopping for souvenirs very close too!
Nagasaki has much more than I saw and wish I can go again!

Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm.
Nagasaki is a city full of history and charm. I love the scenic view of Nagasaki port. People here are very warm and friendly, and it's a city full of nostalgic vibe. Besides that, Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum has very modern and minimalistic architecture style. I like Champon a lot and have it almost everyday during my stay in Nagasaki.

A beautiful city which has unique history of being exposed to other countries, i.e. China, Netherlands, Portugal / Spain, England while the rest of the country was closed. It is also an important witness and victim of the A-bomb.
Don't forget to enjoy the view from Inasa yama.
Also, it offers various food options - shippoku-ryori can be eaten approximately 4000 per person if it is lunch.
We did not get to go to islands and Shimabara etc this time as well as House tembos....
It is a little hard to access by shinkansen now, but it was worth a visit.

The Night View is one of the best I've ever seen (second only to Hong Kong). We went up on the Rope Way, then discovered there was a Slope Car ascent as well--great for a return trip. The Dejima Wharf was a fantastic place to walk. The food in the restaurants around the city was wonderful. The trolley was fun, too.
The owner and his family are very kind and welcoming! They gave great recommendations for places to visit and invited me to have tea and dinner with them. It felt less like coming back to a hotel and more like coming home to family.
The location is fantastic for accessing Nagasaki station and traveling to other popular destinations by foot or on the city tram. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, and the pillows were so soft, which seems to be rare in Japanese hotels!
The hotel is located close to Nagasaki Station and a few public transport options, making it easy for guests to travel around the city. There are also several good eateries in the area, as well as a convenience store located on the ground floor. The free ramen at night and the free ice cream on the top floor were also much appreciated.
The hotel room I stayed in was clean and fairly spacious. The bedding was comfortable and I found the pillows to be ok.
I like the room very much. It's really clean and comfortable. The location is also really good. Just 2 min walk from Nagasaki Bus Station. And also, it's very reasonable compared to "business hotel". There's a range of basic kitchen utensils too like cups, spoons, plates etc. There's also a washing machine downstairs.
Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here and will definitely come back again!
Great location for Dejima sightseeing and only a 10 min walk from Nagasaki station. There's also a tram stop nearby. Room was nice and clean, good shower. The staff were really friendly and even lent us umbrellas when we got there and it was raining. Tasty buffet breakfast. There is a free shuttle bus to the ropeway at night which picks up from outside the hotel.
Location-wise, Candeo Hotels Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown was great. It was at the heart of the city and wasn't very far from the JR station via tram. Breakfast was continental although I had to pay extra for it. But best of all was the spa. This was available to all clients and was open to all. The best time to head in, if you're shy, is about 5-6 PM.
The hotel is only a few minute's walk from Nagasaki station. There is a tram station in front of the hotel, and the family market is next door. The hotel has amazing views from both sides. The room is massive and supper clean and luxurious. The staff speak English very well and are helpful. Breakfast is also great as well with the best view ever.
The location is very convenient, just a 5 minute walk to the bus terminal and less than 10 minutes to the railway station. The hostel is nicely decorated and has many brochures about sights to visit in Nagasaki and surrounding areas. Check in was easy and available in the after hours. Breakfast was delicious although not included in the price.
I checked in early and the hotel had to hold my bags but when I showed up later to get my keys they had already delivered my luggage to my room and I really appreciated that. The breakfast was amazing! There were a lot of great options. The tram stop was right outside the front door and there was a door connecting the Family Mart to the hotel.
Conveniently placed. 7 mins by cab from Nagasaki Station and it's in a large shopping arcade so it's well placed for picking up a coffee, pastries etc. The rooms are atypical of a Japan hotel (in my tourist experience) so compact is the word.
I have stayed in several Fav Hotels across Japan (Kumamoto, Nagasaki, Hiroshima and Kagoshima) and they have all been great. The hotel is beautiful, the room was fantastic, and the staff were great. I will stay with Fav Hotels again.
The hotel is quite near to Nagasaki ..There is nice hotel lady staff who is very friendly and willing to help me to unload my luggage which was temporary store at the main coruscant hotel 1 to hotel 3 which I am staying .
The local people we met were very friendly and helpful. We can easily walk to train station. We accessed Nagasaki public transportation from station to visit Peace Park.
The hotel was in a good location. It was very new, clean, and reasonably priced. Rooms were not too cramped. The Nagasaki trolley system was accessible across the street.
Great location, easy tram ride from Nagasaki Station, or bus drive from the airport. The neighborhood is great too. Breakfast is basic but does the job.
