The hotel is located in a building which houses a wellness centre where you can book a massage or sauna. It is best to book it on advance. You enter your room from a little patio, which might be nice in the summer. The location is perfect - very close to the historical centre, bars and restaurants, bus stops and a big parking lot. It was peaceful and quiet. The room looks better in reality than in the photos. The room and the bathroom were spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable.

The city itself is very cute, the old center is actually not huge, but there is a nice park around it, which was home to some concerts and events at the time of our visit (early June).
Not only is it a cute town in itself, it is also very well located to explore the region. Cesky Krumlov is 25-ish minutes drive away, the Lipno treetop walkway is about 1 hour. Pilsen is around 2 hours drive. There is a plethora of super cute towns and also a lot of beautiful nature and possibilities for biking and hiking in the entire area.

For a Czech city it was surprisingly uninspiring, the old town is beautiful and it's easy to get around. There is no castle or other major attraction. There's a brewery which proved to be very interesting.

Besides having a beautiful city centre and plenty of good cafes and restaurants and shops, the city is convenient as a hub from which to visit nearby towns in South Bohemia such as Ceske Krumlov, and to link with hiking and bicycle trails.
The Regional Museum is also well worth spending a few hours in.
One thing that online Maps fail to advise, is that Ceske Budejovice has a comprehensive bus network, that is inexpensive.
Overall the people seem happy and friendly to tourists.

Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river.
Small, less touristy town. Nice town along the river. Has some nice parks and large town square. Not as cute as some other Czech towns but is home to the original Budweiser. Do the tour to learn all about the beer and taste it. The Hluboka Castle is 30 minutes north of the city. If you have time rent a car or use the public transport (bus or train) to go see it. It’s a beautiful, Winchester palace inspired castle. Large ground territory and free to explore. You can pay to do tours inside the castle but walking outside the castle is already worth the visit.

The room was clean and very spacious. We had a room at the back, so it was quiet. Staff were helpful. Close, walkable distance to shopping and buses and train station. Breakfast was well presented, with a good choice of cereal, cold meats, salad, pastries, eggs, different breads, fruit, and sausages. Good for families. There are lots of fantastic places to eat at close by, and the Lido is a short walk away, too. Ceske Budejovice is a great city to stay in.
We had a great time at Spa Hotel Vita. Even though we stayed only for one night, we feel that our choice to stay there was a great idea. The room was spacious and very clean, the breakfast quite nice, and the personnel very helpful! The location of the hotel is great since it is very close to the center of the city. It was also fairly easy to park the car close to the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
Perfect location. Super easy to access the room with a pin code (no staff interaction which some people will like but other may find a bit impersonal). Easy free parking on the streets around the hotel. It just took a little patience and one or two laps around the block to find a free parking spot away from the R (reserved) signs. Lots of great bars and restaurants around. Fabulous town and accommodation.
Very clear and spacy apartment close to Ceske Budejovice center, with a unique, cozy atmosphere, with modern equipments and lots of pleasant details which help to make feel like being in an excellent home. And all this for a rather reasonable price.
The host, Michal, is a very kind, attentive and helpful person, who speaks excellent in English. Even he brought us some welcome drinks.
Was very clean and spacious. Perfect location you're near everything. It also had everything you needed. The security is good. So anyone that has some concern of people breaking in in ceske budejovice this place is perfect. It has a gate and you can only get in with a chip and you also have a key for your own room. You also get to have a parking space.
Nice cute hotel in the city center of Ceske Budejovice. I was surprised how close I was to the main square full of beautiful historical sights from medieval times. The room I got was really great and clean. The staff was very friendly and always ready to recommend local places where to eat or drink.
I stayed here as a jumping off point to visit Cesky Krumlov and I was so pleasantly surprised. I ended up loving Ceske Budejovice way more than expected. It’s a beautiful little town and this hotel is the perfect place to stay. Photos are very accurate and its very close to the train.
